This September, we are thrilled to introduce Blazing Padels, Norfolk’s very first dedicated padel club, nestled in the tranquil surroundings of Salle Moor Hall Farm in Reepham – a short drive from Norwich City Centre.
Whether you’re an experienced player or completely new to the sport – Blazing Padels serves as a community hub for those pursuing an active lifestyle to unwind and connect. Join us in this week’s blog, as we take you on a tour of this exciting new venture at Salle Moor Hall Farm.
The grand opening
Set to launch on Sunday, 29th September, Blazing Padels is proud to partner with Dunlop – a company that have been driven by a love of the game for 130 years. From their pneumatic racing bicycles tyres in 1888 to the launch of the revolutionary Maxply tennis racket in 1932 – this heritage sports brand has been used by such legends as Rod Laver, Virginia Wade and John McEnroe. The dynamic synergy between Dunlop and Blazing Padels will elevate the sporting experience to new heights for all visitors.
Open 10 am to 5 pm, visitors will have the chance to book their first sessions on Blazing Padels’ state-of-the-art courts and witness a thrilling demonstration match featuring members of the Great Britain padel team. There will even be an opportunity to challenge the pros in a new ‘beat the pros’ competition.
Experience padel like never before
Our commitment to quality is reflected in every aspect of Blazing Padels. The converted cow shed has been meticulously planned to enhance both the play experience and the comfort of all our visitors.
The club offers two indoor courts that ensure year-round play, regardless of the weather. These courts, along with our carefully curated social spaces, including an interior-designed café and clubhouse, create an environment where players can both engage in the sport and relax afterward.
The seamless experience continues with the utilisation of a cutting-edge booking and management system from Swedish company Matchi. This technology not only simplifies the booking process but also introduces features like easy split payments, so you never have to chase friends for their share of the court fees.
A community-oriented space
Our vision for Blazing Padels goes beyond providing a space for sport enthusiasts play. We are dedicated to fostering a vibrant social environment where people can come together, through our regular social sessions, private coaching or competitive leagues. Founder Alex Nagshineh said: “We’re really excited to bring the sport of padel to Norfolk. As many regular players will tell you, the beauty of padel is that it’s easy to pick up but impossible to put down. Given padel culture’s relaxed and social nature, we aim to create a welcoming and comfortable space for players and casual visitors to kick back with friends and family.”
