Sankey’s Feast & Fizz Festival

The Pantiles, steeped in historical charm and cultural significance, is set to host a culinary extravaganza like no other this weekend! On Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th May, from 11am to 6pm, Sankey’s Feast & Fizz Festival will tempt your taste buds with a celebration of diverse flavours and vibrant entertainment.

A star-studded event

Kenny Tutt, MasterChef winner and owner of Ox Block and Patty Guy, will be compèring this globe-trotting adventure that will feature everything from ice cream and German sausages to Middle Eastern delicacies and seafood paella.

Chef demos will take place on the iconic bandstand from Kenny himself, Mandy Miller-Simmonds from Simply Food by Mandy, Pat Hill from Thackeray’s, Scott Goss from I’ll Be Mother – The Beacon, Seamus from Squerryes, Matthew Sankey from Sankey’s and Julian Leefe-Griffiths from The Tunbridge Wells Hotel. Moreish dishes will be created using the fantastic demonstration kitchen kindly supplied by Great British Kitchens & Interiors – a family owned and operated company that has been creating beautiful, bespoke interiors since 1984.

Sankey’s: the perfect hosts

The Feast & Fizz Festival is proudly sponsored and hosted by Sankey’s, renowned purveyors of fine cuisine and beverages. With their restaurant at The Old Fishmarket, Kitchen and Bar at Mount Ephraim, and specialised fishmongers, Sankey’s brings a wealth of culinary expertise to the table.

Situated in the Old Fishmarket building in the heart of The Pantiles, Sankey’s exclusive Champagne & Seafood bar is a luxurious retreat where guests can savour the very best of British fish and shellfish paired with a wide range of Champagne and sparkling wines from around the world.

A tempting journey of food & music

There will be something to satisfy every palate at this must-attend festival. Get ready to sample tipsy cakes, Kenyan BBQ morsels, smoked beef brisket, pork belly, Mediterranean deli delights, biltong and burgers, then indulge in sweet treats like cookies, brownies and Belgian waffle pops. Wash it all down with cocktails, gin, rum punch or African soft drinks for a truly refreshing experience!

Talented local musicians will also grace the bandstand on both days, courtesy of Paul Dunton & Guests, ensuring there’s never a dull moment at this lively event.
