Targetfollow Group Ltd has acquired Peterborough Garden Park, a 91,000 sq ft out-of-town retail centre.

The property is anchored by a 50,000 sq ft Van Hage garden centre. Other retailers at the 18.5 acre site include Cotswold Outdoor, The Works, The Edinburgh Woollen Mill and Bonmarche.

Peterborough Garden Park was developed in 2010 and has won numerous awards, including the British Council of Shopping Centres Gold Award for ‘Best Out-of-Town Retail Scheme in the UK’ and the Garden Centre Association’s ‘Best Garden Centre – Midlands’.

Targetfollow Group was established in 1991 and specialises in the acquisition and management of investment and development properties. Chief Executive Corin Thoday said “We are delighted to have acquired Peterborough Garden Park. It is an architecturally distinctive, award winning retail destination with a fabulous anchor tenant and strong retail mix.”

Mr Thoday continued “Targetfollow owns the Upper Pantiles in Tunbridge Wells which we have invested in significantly. We run approximately 100 events a year which creates significant brand profile and footfall, the result of which is that the Upper Pantiles is fully let and trading very successfully. We will bring this experience and expertise to Peterborough Garden Park to support the traders and help them continue to flourish.”
