“Art for me is all about…imagination” – An exhibition of works by Nicola Slattery at Norwich Theatre Royal

Nicola Slattery was born in 1963 and graduated from Coventry Art School in 1986. A prolific, well known painter and printmaker, she has exhibited regularly and widely for many years in solo and group exhibitions across the UK and beyond. In 2014 Nicola Slattery won “The Alfred Daniels’ Personal Favourites Award” for a narrative painting at The Mall Galleries, London. She was elected to membership of the Royal Society of British Artists in 2015. In March 2016 she was presented with “The Artist Magazine Award and subsequently featured in the January 2017 issue of The Artist Magazine. In March 2017 she won the “Dry Red Press Award” for her painting “Songbirds” included in the 300th Royal Society of British Artists exhibition at the Mall Galleries, London. Nicola lives and works in Norfolk and we are delighted to have Nicola’s paintings and limited edition prints on display as part of our ongoing exhibition series at the Theatre Royal Norwich. About The Exhibition Series

This space hosts a stimulating programme of exhibitions by East Anglian artists kindly sponsored by Targetfollow Estates Ltd. in collaboration with the Theatre Royal. The exhibitions change every 3 months and create a unique opportunity for local professional artists to display and sell their work in a well used and well loved public space.

When the Theatre was refurbished in 2007 Targetfollow paid for a flexible hanging system to be installed the walls around the Adnams Bar, since then Targetfollow has supported the changing exhibition series which has featured work by local artists including Colin Self, John Kiki, Martin Laurence, Emrys Parry, Bruer Tidman, Mary Mellor, Fiona Roberts, Cornelia FitzRoy, Norwich 20 Group and many more.

Location – Adnams Bar, Theatre Royal, Theatre Street, Norwich, NR2 1RL.

Opening hours are Monday to Saturday from 9.30am until 5pm (and until 8pm on theatre performance days).
