Today we welcomed Aldi to Peterborough One! It was a great day for our park, as we greeted new customers looking to enjoy the supermarket’s affordable, high-quality food.

With an estimated annual revenue of £60 billion and 10,000 locations around the world, Aldi has firmly established itself as one of the world’s premium supermarkets. The company have recruited thirty new staff members for their 18,500 sq ft PE1 store.

Peterborough One is currently home to Van Hage Garden Centre, Steadman & Co Hairdressing, The Works, Roman, Pavers, Maidenhead Aquatics, Just4Sofas, Hammonds, Inflata Nation, Hebden Dance Co and the beauty school ‘Kiss and Make Up’. We are also excited to have Angle Axe – Peterborough’s first axe throwing venue – join our park towards the end of June!

It has always been our goal to diversify the site’s offerings and we are proud of the broad selection of tenants currently at the location. The garden centre and existing terrace of 19 single storey units are 96% let to 12 tenants. With retail, hospitality and leisure; the site provides plenty of opportunities for shopping, relaxing, rejuvenating and much more.

“It’s been a massive boost getting new retailers to the park during national lockdowns and the Aldi scheme even looks set to double the site’s footfall.”
